Privacy Policy

We have adopted the following policies regarding the information collected by programs on this website to achieve our goal of maintaining the integrity and security of the job analysis (and related) information we collect.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERNING CMQ DATA COLLECTION. All data collected using the CMQ/Online system becomes the property of Personnel Systems & Technologies Corporation (PSTC). Although we need to collect certain identifying information on the job being rated, and the person providing the ratings, we will never disclose or sell any of the personal information we collect to others. PSTC will, however, maintain an anonymous database of CMQ responses, and provide anonymized job-level summary information on CMQ ratings of occupations to our customers.

Use of Personal Information. We minimize the amount of personal information that is collected during the job analysis process, and we will release occupational information that contains personal identifying information only to authorized individuals associated with the organization that sponsored the data collection (or if paid for by an individual, to that individual). Under no circumstances will any personal identifying information collected and maintained in our database ever be sold or provided to any unauthorized outside entity for any purpose. All personal identifiers will be removed prior to using or disseminating ratings from our occupational database to individuals who are engaged in legitimate occupational research projects, or as part of PSTC's job analysis reporting products.

Security Measures to Safeguard Information. This website provides users with the capability to schedule a job analysis session for individuals who have access to the web, and to receive back or edit the results of those sessions online.  This service is protected by several layers of security including password protection.  

Use of  “cookies.” Our system does not use “cookies,” or otherwise leave identifying data on your computer system after the CMQ survey is administered.  We do, however, use session information to track the ratings made by each rater as they progress through the online job analysis process in order to maintain data integrity and accuracy.

 Recognition of Privacy Concerns. We have attempted to address the most common concerns regarding personal privacy regarding our services and the information that we collect or convey to clients.  It is important that our customers and their raters feel comfortable with the security of the information and services that we provide.
